Terms of Service
Welcome to Books By Brittany. By accessing our website or engaging our firm for accounting, tax preparation, or financial advisory services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Scope of Services & Client Responsibilities
Books By Brittany provides fractional bookkeeping, tax preparation, business formation, and financial strategy services. We rely on the accuracy and completeness of the financial records, receipts, and information you provide.
No Audit Engagement: Our standard bookkeeping and tax preparation services do not include a formal audit of your records. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the documents and figures you submit to our firm.
Timely Submission: We require timely submission of all necessary documents to meet federal and state tax deadlines. Books By Brittany is not liable for late fees, penalties, or interest incurred due to a client’s failure to provide required information on time.
Disclaimers: Results & Testimonials
Every business is unique, and financial outcomes rely on a multitude of variables including market conditions, client execution, and historical data.
No Guarantee of Results: Any financial insights, tax strategies, or forecasting provided by Books By Brittany are advisory in nature. We do not guarantee specific financial outcomes, tax returns, or business growth metrics.
Context of Testimonials: Any testimonials, case studies, or examples of past client success featured on this website or in our marketing materials are strictly for illustrative purposes. They represent the unique experiences of those specific clients and do not constitute a promise, guarantee, or expectation that you will experience the same results.
Payment Terms, Declined Transactions & Chargebacks
To maintain our high level of service, we enforce strict payment policies for all continuous and project-based work.
Declined Payments: If a scheduled payment for monthly fractional services is declined, all work on your account will be immediately paused until the balance is brought current. A late fee of [Insert Fee, e.g., $35 or 5%] may be applied to invoices past due by more than [Insert Days, e.g., 5 days].
Chargeback Policy: We value transparent communication. If you have an issue with a billing charge, you agree to contact Books By Brittany directly to resolve the matter. Initiating an illegitimate chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or credit card provider for services already rendered is a violation of these terms. In the event of an unwarranted chargeback, your account will be immediately suspended, and we reserve the right to pursue the owed balance, plus any administrative or chargeback fees levied by our payment processor, through collections or legal action.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Books By Brittany, its owner, and any contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of your use of our services or website.
Termination of Service
Both the client and Books By Brittany reserve the right to terminate the service agreement at any time, with or without cause, subject to the specific notice terms outlined in your individual client contract. Upon termination, all outstanding balances for work already completed become immediately due.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona.
